The cartoon was syndicated nationwide for 35 years. Starting in 1977 and ending in 2012 Matt Groening was the creator of this successful cartoon.
Back in 1995 I worked for an Internet services provider (ISP). Along with another sales rep who was able to get us into Fox we pitched their IT manager. I remember this day well because this was the first time I saw Windows 95 and because he gave us a tour of the studio. We saw the Broken Arrow set and the Down Periscope set. Even with our backdoor access a security guard yelled at the employee and us for looking around a submarine set. Lastly, he showed us the room where the voice over actors do the table readings for The Simpsons. This picture looks familiar but it was 28 years ago. The guy was super cool to take the time to show us around!
