Rent a room or home in the area

Robert G. Wehle State Park, NY is my favorite part of my Sackets Harbor, NY trips. I found this park by complete accident when renting a house on Lake Ontario. This park is about 20 minutes South. When walking the trail it feels like you are on the ocean. Super quiet. Best to go when it's dry out from what one person said in reviews I found. I was growing frustrated by another popular trail website because you cannot look at pictures without logging in. That makes it tough when you are filling a bucket with links. So I found this small website and added it to my bucket because their pictures are wonderful! Not recommended for small kids because the cliffs are unforgiving. Stay on the trail and you will be fine.

Sackets Harbor. Ghost Town. I have stayed at Marina Inn & Suites twice. Wonderful hotel!

Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site. Amazing views on the Lake Ontario coast. You are on a cliff looking out on the harbor. This park is right in town. Just walk up the small hill.

Brick Oven Pizza & Wine Bar | Sackets Harbor. You might think I'm crazy but I only eat here for dinner. There are other beautiful restaurants right on Main Street that get excellent ratings but I was so impressed with this place. The atmosphere is laid back and the food is to die for.

I noticed a soldier in full uniform eating next to me at The Battlefield Eatery. I put 2 and 2 together that there must be several more like him living in town who report to Fort Drum daily.

Excellent place for friendly service and tasty food. Each time I visited this town I have enjoyed breakfast here. Big portions and the most unique toast.

Madison Barracks Apartments Home Rental Sackets Harbor NY. Historical War of 1812 era former military barracks. The rooms are large and clean and priced to value. Right on the water. Easily walk into town. I have stayed at the location all three times I have visited.

I have never stayed here but my wife has on one occasion as well as my parents. Both cannot stop talking about the hotel's beauty. The owner's really care about their guests. The hotel is right off Main Street in town.
